Break Entitlements?

Breaks are allocated based on shift length in line with company policy and award conditions.

Standard entitlements:

  • 57 hour shifts: 1 x 30-minute unpaid meal break

  • 7+ hour shifts: 1 x 30-minute unpaid meal break 1 x 10-minute paid rest break

Guidelines:

  • Breaks should be taken at times approved by your supervisor

  • Employees must clock breaks where required in Microkeeper

Important:

  • Skipping breaks without approval is not permitted

  • Breaks may be adjusted based on operational needs
