If an employee doesn't choose their own super fund or have a stapled super fund, you can set them up with a Default Fund in their Employee Profile. *Make sure you have configured a Default Fund in the Beam Config.

Navigate to Menu > Settings > Employees > click Edit for the employee> in the Employee Profile - Super Fund Details

Configure their settings as:

  • Super Fund: Select the Default Super fund from the dropdown list. i.e "Australian Super"
  • Member Number: A placeholder value is set. This is determined by each super fund. i.e "000" or "UNKNOWN"

A request will be made when you process super via Beam. A member number will be allocated to the employee.
