Do I need an APCA code for my business bank account?

An APCA code (also known as a Direct Entry Number) is a unique six-digit number provided by your bank to identify your business when creating electronic direct debits, payroll files (ABA files), and bulk credit transactions.

An APCA code is only required if you will be paying employee wages using an ABA file. It is not required if you are only using the bank account for super payments or deductions.

If you do not require an APCA code, simply enter 0 in the APCA Code field.
